Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding is a method of distributing seed and fertiliser onto a designated area using water as a carrier. This process is carried out using a machine specially built for the purpose. The machine has a mechanism to agitate the liquid to ensure even and constant mixing and suspension of the ingredients, so that they are applied to the work area in the correct proportions.

Hydroseeding is an effective way of distributing the seed and fertiliser because the mix can be sprayed using hoses which carry the mix to areas which might otherwise be inaccessible for the truck carrying the mixture and the equipment.
